Jamie lives and works from Mt Maunganui, New Zealand. He Has lived there most his life working in a broad-spectrum of medium but he is known predominantly for his colourfully vivid Landscapes and his 3d Sand art. His Sand Art combines Anamorphic one-point perspective design drawn on the beach with photography being the final step. He leads the world in this unique art form covering themes like intricate geometric design to child themed story-telling where live models are added to sell 'the illusion'. For Jamie being an Artist is the ultimate lifestyle and is his passion in life. "The Master painters are my Gurus, creativity is my meditation and my art works are my children. I think being an Artist is a very noble act, we observe this chaotic world extracting all its beauty and flaws, we then remould and present them in our own unique way. We explore ideas, expose truths, inspire thought and promote a reaction. Is there a better job?." Note: All Artwork is copywright to Jamie Harkins
