Waikato Sunrise Rotary is excited about the opportunity of working with Balloons Over Waikato to raise money for our nominated cause, KidsCan in Waikato Schools. To raise these funds, we will be holding a Virtual Balloon Race! Funds raised from the Waikato Sunrise Rotary KidsCan virtual balloon race will go towards KidsCan’s support for schools in the Waikato region. Providing simple things like food, shoes, socks and raincoats, so kids can arrive at school ready and able to learn.
Buy, gift or sponsor a balloon for just $8 in the Waikato Sunrise Rotary Virtual Balloon Race and not only will you be supporting KidsCan, there are also great prizes for the winning balloons.
You can design and colour your balloon, then watch it take off on Tuesday 23 March at 6.30PM, from the Eiffel Tower- Paris and see where it will travel over 7 days.
Plus, the balloons that come 1st, 2nd and 3rd will win great prizes.

Super Hero Walk and Run - 27th March Coronation Park - The Waipuna Hospice Superhero Walk/Run is a Family Friendly event that which will be a fun, social way to get together and support Waipuna Hospice at the same time. With a sign up price of $40 per group of five and under 18’s free, this is a great event for friendship and fostering a community spirit, where you can bring the whole family along.

Meetings each second and fourth Monday of the month at the Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club, Sulphur Point, Tauranga. Meet from 5.45pm for a 6.30pm start.  There will be no meeting on public holidays, and these dates will have been rescheduled in the same month.   All guest are welcome to join, please contact a club officer to confirm such dates.
