Climbing Mauao 38 times in 50 days

Each week during our club meeting a short presentation is giving by one of the club members, this week Carmen spoke about an issue she is very passionate about - Violence towards women. Violence is about power and control. It will make the headlines when it is towards women and/or children. Carmen and Donald Hegan have signed up to do the Mount Everest Challenge. They will attempt to climb Mauao 38 times in 50 days which is equivalent to climbing Mt Everest. Two of Carmen’s colleagues have pledged to do all 38 climbs in 1 day – they are both ultra athletes.
